Erndtebrück in Kürze
Am Fuß des Ebschloh und an der Mündung des Benfebaches in die Eder liegt - inmitten des Naturparks Rothaargebirge - Erndtebrück, der zentrale Ort der gleichnamigen Gemeinde. Diese entstand im Jahr 1975 durch die kommunale Neugliederung aus insgesamt 8 Gemeinden der ehemaligen Ämter Bad Berleburg und Erndtebrück. Sie besteht heute aus den Ortschaften Balde, Benfe, Birkefehl, Birkelbach, Erndtebrück, Röspe, Schameder, Womelsdorf und Zinse.
Das Freizeit- und Urlaubsangebot in der waldreichen Umgebung des Rothaargebirges kann sich sehen lassen. Im Sommer erlaubt ein Netz ausgeschilderter Rad- und Wanderwege viel Bewegung und Ruhe in den weiten Wäldern. In bezaubernder Winterlandschaft gibt es zahlreiche Möglichkeiten zum Wintersport auf den Loipen und Pisten. Nach einem ereignisreichen Tag in der Natur lädt unsere gepflegte Gastronomie zu Gemütlichkeit und Entspannung ein.
